Mission
The mission of Alternate Police Services is to be an alternative means of resolution to minor community problems that have become burdensome to local law enforcement. We aim to achieve this goal by handling traffic crashes, minor retail theft, traffic control, providing security for community events, and community consulting.
WHO WE ARE
Alternative Police Services is the vision of former police officers who saw that their agency was failing the community and it's department members due to short staffing, increased workload, and lack of transparency.
Our services will allow police departments to better address major community issues such as violent crime and property crimes. We also give the community a safe and reliable resources to use in lieu of the police.
REDBAG AND REDBAG RADIO
APS is also committed to keeping our children safe in school. We have partnered with Redbag radio and are actively implementing Redbag's in schools.
Redbag is a supply cache that provides teachers and students with a cache of supplies to help during any emergency. The bag includes stop the bleed equipment such as torniquets and quick clot and can be customized to fit the needs of any classroom. The built in inventory management feature insures that all your RedBag's are “Ready” when needed.
Redbag radio provides broadcast notifications into the classroom with an intuitive emergency chat feature that allows teachers to communicate directly with administrators such as dispatch, school resource officers and medical personnel. All of this activated by a QR Code with no pre-loaded app required.
